Fundamental to many of our ancestors right up to indigenous peoples around the world of recent times, bone has pathed the way for the survival of many cultures. From making needles for sewing clothing, awls for basketry or punching holes in hides, to larger items such as harpoon heads, arrowheads, it can even be used for axe heads. Some believe it's the most important tool man-kind has ever created!
Join our team for a half day workshop getting hands on with this fascinating material. We will provide all the tools and equipment you need and we'll be on hand to answer any questions as we guide you through crafting these intricate projects. The finished needle is then yours to take away to put to use on other projects!
