Bushcraft Proof and Protect Treatment is the ideal product for keeping your leather, wood, and canvas gear waterproof and protected from the hard wear and tear of the outdoor life. 

Using blended waxes alongside more traditional oils balances the treatment's tensile durability with greater flexibility, resulting in enhanced molecular bonding, which in practical terms, creates longer lasting waterproofing than beeswax alone, and avoiding the environmental impact of using silicones and synthetics.

We have worked hard to formulate a universally high-performing product that will transform the durability and proofness of your bags, pouches, belts, straps, gloves, harnesses, sacks, and canvas clothing.  Absorbed deep below the surface, the revitalising oils penetrate the fibres to replace lost suppleness and drive out and keep out moisture.  At the same time the base waxes coat the surface of the fibres locking out dirt and dust and making the item more pleasing to handle.

Compared to other wax-based products in general use, this hand-made Bushcraft Proof & Protect Treatment provides a more durable finish and has a higher melting point, which means that while it starts off a little harder in the tin, it lasts longer and goes further!  Use it as part of your regular maintenance to condition, nourish, proof and protect the equipment you depend on. 

OUTDOORSMAN Proof & Protect Treatment also delicately enhances the grain of wood, gives a rich lustre to smooth leather, and provides day-to-day protection for canvas items.  Its properties also help prevent oxidation of metal surfaces, making it a great choice for your outdoor knives and tools.

Use it to naturally waterproof outdoor clothing, bags, canvas and leather items, add a water-repellent coating to wood and metal, and to bring a pleasing sheen to boots, shoes, belts and straps.  It can also be used on marble, granite and stone.  

NOTE: Bushcraft Proof & Protect will flatten and darken the napped finish if used on suede, and will leave a waxy residue
