In this 4-hour workshop we will guide you through preparing both pigeon and rabbit with a view to cooking up the pigeon on site for you to try and sending you away with the ready-to-cook rabbit joints for your own meal!

Our experienced staff prepare and use a variety of game on a weekly basis and are happy to relate recipes and tips for cooking your game.

  • Introduction and natural history of the Wood Pigeon.
  • Preparing wood pigeon without using a knife.
  • Preparing wood pigeon using a knife.
  • Description of plucking and drawing.
  • Cooking pigeon.
  • Introduction and natural history of the Rabbit.
  • Gutting and skinning.
  • Jointing.
  • Recommendation of cooking.

All ages welcome but only paid places will have resources allocated to them for the workshop, under 18's must be accompanied by an adult. Free Tea and Coffee will be available.
