Let the cookware cool down, run warm water onto it and gently scrub off the burnt residue. No dish detergent needed. Simply rinse the crockery after cleaning again and dry thoroughly before storage. Never use detergent on Cast Iron as this will remove the seasoning.

Always oil cast iron after it has been cleaned and thoroughly dried to keep it ready to use next time!
