These bottles are made from sustainable sugarcane. Using what is traditionally a waste product from the production of sugar, we can offer a plant based alternative to plastic.

The lids are made from recycled vegetable oils mixed with wood pulp, which is again an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional poly propylene. So these bottles and lids are made from plants not fossil fuels so they are far better for the planet.

All the materials used are 100% recyclable, even the filters!

The filters are internationally tested and validated to remove up to 99.9999% of microbiological contaminants and harmful chemicals and heavy metals from water.

The packaging is manufactured using an innovative card development made from 75% recycled material mixed with 25% virgin FSC stock. In order to ensure that the packaging is 100% recyclable, they only use vegetable inks to print the cartons.

Filter duration is based on usage, not time. So the 200-litre filter capacity would last for 100 days based on consuming 2 litres of water per day or 200 days at 1litre per day and so on.

Without activating the filter, in the original packaging, our filters will have a ‘shelf life of three years. The nanotechnology in our filters is activated by contact with water, therefore before use, it is important to keep it in a dry place. In the interests of customer safety: we recommend that activated and part-used filters which are then NOT used again for over 12 months are best replaced with a new filter.
