Your instructor will welcome you and you will then spend the morning identifying, describing and collecting a selection of native, wild, medicinal plants from around our stunning 250 acre woodland. With each plant we will describe how to identify it, its medicinal uses and how to prepare it, making sure you're equipped with the knowledge that the world around us offers us some amazing remedies to common ailments. We will discuss the etymology, the myths and tales that you may have heard, and discover if there's any truth to those old stories.

The balance payment is required no less than 8 weeks before your course commences. You will receive an invoice shortly after booking for the balance payment.

The morning begins...
We will arrive back at the camp area in time for a quick lunch (not provided) and the afternoon will then be spent making a wilderness first aid kit. Depending on the plants available we will make a selection of preparations including;- creams, ointments, tinctures and liniments as well as drying and mixing plants for making infusions to treat a range of common ailments including cuts, bites and stings, burns, bruises, coughs and colds etc. All of which you we be able to take away with you.
