Join us for a day's moccasin making course surrounded by some inspirational craft displays. On this course our instructors will take you through the process of making a pair of grain leather moccasins.

The Moccasin is a wonderful piece of footwear that really connects you to the environment you are progressing through. Lightweight, easily foldable, "Bare Foot" and very very comfortable.

During the day, as well as the history, folklore and usefulness of the moccasin you will learn how to use a template to design your moccasins specific to your foot size. You will then learn the different stitches required to pull your moccasin together, and become familiar with the tailoring skills required.

It is our aim for you to go away with a completed pair of woodland moccasins, however depending on your skill level (everyone is different) we can guarantee that you will complete at least one moccasin and leave with knowledge, understanding and materials to be able to complete the pair later.

This course is for over 16's although under 18's must be accompanied by an adult. Workshops are held at our World Of Bushcraft Centre in the Peak District, where free tea and coffee will be available.
