This knife is a classic design from Pöul that has been well executed. The blade is high carbon steel, with the half tang construction often found in Scandinavian tools - this is due to the colder weather, where you wouldn't want your hand on exposed steel. The handle is Curly Birch and Wenge, both lovely timbers with lots of character and plenty of strength.
As is the theme with Pöul tools, the leatherwork is nice and robust, with thick leather and neat stitching.
