A classic design from Nothern Scandinavia, this traditional Sami Kuksa is a beautiful addition to your home or camp. Crafted by hand from intricately figured Curly Birch (also known as Massur Birch), with a beautiful tactile finish, they feel wonderful in the hand.  

Using these wooden cups for your drinks (hot or cold!) gives you a greater feeling of connectivity with nature and the Sami people who's ancient traditions include these Kuksas (Kåsas in Swedish). Each Kuksa holds around 100ml, perfect for a short strong coffee!

As each piece is handmade, there will be variations in the grain, the thickness, weight and shape of the handle. The birch used is specially selected for it's beautiful grain, so you're guaranteed to get something beautiful!

Care instructions: Do not use detergent on your kuksa but you can wash with lukewarm water and dry immediately with kitchen towel. Don't leave liquid in the kuksa as it can cause splitting.
