Made by Ray Iles from EN9 spring steel, these high quality 10 1/2 inch froes come complete with 14 inch beech handles. Froes are used for cleaving lengths of wood for chair making, laths, hurdles, tent pegs, etc, they are driven by striking the back of the blade with a wooden mallet or club.
