Discover the colours hidden in the natural world on this Natural Dyeing Day Course in our Derbyshire woods. Working alongside Olivia from Suspended Sunbeam, you will explore the art of natural dyeing and discover how plants and other natural materials can be used to create colour for textiles and artwork.

Set in our woodland on the Haddon Estate, this hands-on workshop combines creative experimentation with the opportunity to learn more about the natural environment around you. Some of the plants used for dyeing will be foraged directly from the woodland, with a Woodland Ways instructor also present to share additional knowledge about foraging and the plants growing in the surrounding landscape.

Whether you are interested in traditional crafts, enjoy working with natural materials or simply want to explore a different way of being creative outdoors, this is an opportunity to discover nature's palette and develop new skills with guidance from both Olivia and Woodland Ways.
