This Hultsfors Knife has been developed and adapted to suit the needs of craftsmen, manufactured in 2.5mm Japanese stainless knife steel and hardened to 57 -59 HRC.

The handle and sheath are made of extra durable PP plastic and the handle is navy blue.

The sheath features a full belt loop as well as a button attachment and has a large thumb lever to gently ease the knife from the sheath and also a nice deep finger guard.

Here Jason writes"This is my favourite tool out of the Hultafors knife range, but I do like slightly lighter knives, and it is much lighter! There is less steel on the blade as it is narrower, it has a lovely drop point with a shallow belly- not my favourite shape but it still works a treat. It feels nice in the hand to work with and once again a massive improvement in the sheath with a full belt loop, I'd be happy to throw this into the bottom of my rucksack as a secondary back up knife... that is if I didn't already have one!"

 

Advantages: Has a Stainless steel blade so will hold its edge a lot longer than a carbon steel blade.

Disadvantages: Stainless steel blades are harder to sharpen than carbon steel blades.
