This Mora Companion is a heavy duty version of one of our favourite knives. We really rate Mora knives here at Woodland Ways, and this is no exception. A great tool, at a very reasonable price, Mora are ideal for those just getting started in Bushcraft, or for those who want a tool they're happy to put to work.
What makes these different from the standard companion is the slightly thicker blade (3.2mm) with a slightly more robust 27° edge angle. This should give the Heavy Duty a more robust cutting edge, though it will impact how this knife performs doing slicing cuts. Constructed from Carbon steel, this knife will take a very sharp edge with ease, though it will need to be kept dry and oiled.
