Willow Basketry Workshop

Join our instructors for an introductory day of Willow basketry, and craft an item from this wonderful natural resource to take away and use at home or in the woods!
You will be taught the basic principles of working with willow and will be guided through the process of making your own small round willow basket.

The course will also cover other aspects of basketry including; alternative weaving techniques, sourcing your own material from the hedgerow, adding handles, oval baskets etc. All tools and materials to take part in the workshop are provided.

This course is for over 16's although under 18's must be accompanied by an adult. Workshops are held at our World Of Bushcraft Centre in the Peak District, where free tea and coffee will be available.
